International Women's Day Luncheon
The most prestigious of events, this luncheon is an opportunity to recognise the achievments of women in our community.
This year's luncheon, held on March 6th, uncovered the 2009 Most Inspiring Woman of the Year and guests were priveleged to hear the words of guest speaker, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC Govenor-General of Australia.
Koro Fine Australian Jewellery proudly sponsored the event, and donated a $500 gift voucher as a major raffle prize. Fundraising activities on the day raised over $19,000 for the Women's Council for Family and Domestic Violence Services.
The day filled with networking, fine dining, entertainment and moving and motivating speeches, is one Koro certainly looks forward to again next year.
